Glory stars head to Albany

Albany will lay the backdrop for Glory stars Chris Harold and Mitch Oxborrow when they visit the port city tomorrow for a day full of kick-abouts and football fun with locals.

Harold said he was looking forward to bringing Glory's community activities to the Great Southern.

"I think it will be a valuable trip," the aspiring lawyer said.

"We're looking forward to venturing to that beautiful part of the state. I think it presents a great opportunity to show that Glory is more than just about Perth and that the club is focussed on the whole of Western Australia."

Harold and Oxborrow arrive in Albany tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 21st of Jun) where they will visit the local Department of Sport and Recreation and take in the Skill Acquisition Program, as well as hosting a session with the Game Development Program Players at the North Road Soccer Fields.

The Glory teammates will also enjoy a dinner with local coaches and players.

Country Week Trial Forms

Country Week Trials for most age groups are this coming weekend. If you haven't seen when your trials are be sure to look at the AJSA website for full details.
For those of you are wanting to try out, and I encourage all to give it a go, there are some forms that need to be filled out.
I can't guarantee the weather and as we don't have much shelter I ask you to complete the forms prior to attending so we can try and keep the process as smooth as possible.

The forms are on the attached PDF.

***Reminder...The AJSA and Coaches ask that players trying out refrain from wearing Country Week training shirts or Country Week playing shirts at trials***
